Scrapping for a good cause

I know we have several readers who also have rescue puggies so I wanted to pass along details about this exciting contest. Milwaukee PugFest is having a scrapbook page contest & the winner can raise $250 for the rescue of their choice! Here are the details:

Rules:
· Design a scrapbook page that features your rescued pug!
· Entries must be received by Friday Feb. 1st
· Submit your page to:
Milwaukee Pugfest
1729 Walnut St.
South Milwaukee, WI53172
· Only one side of a 12x12 page can be used
· Your pug’s name and your favorite pug rescue’s name must be displayed on the page
· Important Note: Your page and photos will not be returned to you.

Judging Criteria
· Theme, Name, and Rescue Organization is communicated
· Journaling – your page should tell the judges a “story”
· Creativity
· Use of Color

The winner of the Scrapbook Contest will receive:
· A $250 donation to the rescue of their choice by Milwaukee Pugfest for Valentine’s Day.
· Their page will be featured on http://www.milwaukeepugfest.com/
Pretty cool huh? I hope lots and lots of people enter and make this a huge success so they are able to do it again next year. Even though you don't get your pages back, they are going to a good cause, they will all be put into a scrapbook that will be on display during PugFest so everyone's stories about their rescues will be shared.

Speaking of pug LOs...here are a couple of new ones

I don't have a pug, so I can't enter the contest, but I love that there is something called, "Milwaukee Pugfest." Makes me smile just thinking about what that event would be like!

I didn't know about the contest! I'm so glad you chatted about it - I'm not a scrapper but I'm sure I can put something together that's not to terrible looking to send in. :-)
