Exciting news!

So I am thrilled to let you know that I am one of the May Guest Designers at 2 Scrappy Chix Designs! When I got the May kit in the mail the other day, I just about lost it...seriously, look at all of that de-lish Hambly and yes, there are owls on that ribbon! Owls, robots, and skulls...I am in heaven :)

You must run over here to get your kit so you can have as much fun as I am going to. As if that wasn't cool enough, the uber talented Tammy Kay is one of the other Guest Designers this month....*love* her stuff so much!

Hedgehog ~love~

How exciting to find my
Reprodepot order waiting for me when I got home tonight. How cute is this little hedgehog washcloth...too cute I say!

I can't wait to wrap up some orders so I can use this fab tape with duckies and yes...hedgehogs too :)

This fabric is going to make some very stylish totes! Love that blue & brown.

Speaking of totes, this is my latest creation, they are all spoken for and are going to some fabulous pug-loving homes :)

And Foote

I had so much fun putting the scrapping kits together the other day, I decided offer a 12 x 12 kit on Etsy, it is full of yummy Basic Grey, Scenic Route & lots of uber cool embellishments.

Leftovers are yummy!

So our Chicagoland Craft Collective meetup was so fun last night. It was cool to see how everyone used the goodies in the kits I put together. Over-achiever that I am, I made a few kits too many that are now looking for good homes. These are for 8 1/2 x 11 LOs. If you would like one, just leave a comment and Opie & I will will pick a couple of names tomorrow night.

This is going to be fun!

So tonight is our Chicagoland Craft Collective meetup and I have all of my kits finished and tools packed & am ready to do some scrapping. I finished up a couple of LOs yesterday using the goodies I put together.

This week in the mailbox...

I have to catch up on sharing some of the fun stuff that the mailman has left me this week. First of all, these stamps from Sun Spirit Studio I mean come on, how can you pass them up? Sarah aka the stamping enabler pointed these out to me.

I don't know what took me so long to find all of the fabulous stuff that
Jenni Bowlin has, but when I did I went a little crazy! This is just a small sample of paper that I got this week. *Love* the one with the bird on it.

And finally, I bought a couple of things on
Etsy this week. The first one to get here is this little birdie print by Elsie Flannigan. I am off to buy a frame for it this morning and have yet to decide if I am going to hang it in my craft room (which is on the verge of exploding!) or in my office at work....decisions, decisions :)

More English pugs...

...modeling Mugsy's Cape & crown :)
This is George, at first he was being uncooperative and claimed the outfit made him sneeze

Then he got the hang of it and posed for this perfect profile picture

This is sweet Onion, don't you just love that name?

And finally this is Hattie who just wasn't keen on the whole idea and would rather just have a snack

Hattie's non-pug sister Daisy showing her how it's done!

Monsters & pugs

So as I sit in my craft room and watch it snow (!) all day, I decided to re-visit making some felt monsters. That's Carl in the picture...he has travelled the 7 seas and has many tales to tell of his adventures. I have made a couple of these felt pirate monsters today, they just seem to take on a life of their own! They are now in my Etsy shop awaiting new homes

I squeezed in some scrapping time while the power was out earlier. No computer, no sewing machine, no printer...aaaarrrgh, luckily I had printed up a couple of pics I wanted to scrap the night before so I had something to work with.

This is all I see out the window of my craft room today...ice & sleet.

Come check out....

My Etsy shop. It's something I have been thinking about doing for a while, but finally got it together this week so if you are looking for some puggy crafts, come and check it out. I am working on a few (gasp!) non-pug ideas as well (don't tell Opie & Mugsy). The hardest part of the whole process was deciding on a banner for my shop, I think I made 6 or 7 before finally choosing one :)

More royal pugginess

This is Wish, in typical pug fashion she thought that crown was something edible!

Then she decided to finally cooperate for her mother.

The Cape & Crown World Tour

So I recently posted pics. of Mugsy in his cape & crown that my Dad sent him. Well I thought it would be fun to get pictures of as many pugs as possible in the royal threads, so with a little help from my friends at Pug Village, I now have a list of 30 destinations that the cape & crown will be traveling to! It's first stop was Merry Old England where the precious Dannika & Maisie were the first models.
This is Prince Dannika...cuuuuute!

and the super precious Maisie, look at that face :)

Here she is singing "God Save The Queen"

Keep checking back for the further adventures of the Cape & Crown World Tour.

Another day, another tote...

Everything is just a little cuter when it's hanging on a picket fence :)

My morning so far

O.k., so my last day off was anything but productive...but today is a whole different story! I have already finished 3 totes, 2 stuffed puggies and a bunch of felt pins...and it's only noon, I love days like this!

Good morning..

Just wanted to share this LO I did yesterday....how funny is the look on Mugsy's face?! I used some of the robot Paper Source wrapping paper I posted about the other day.

If you have a second, you have to check out this blog, Susie Can Stitch, she is a member of our Chicagoland Craft Collective group and make the most incredible things from felt, she is also a genius when it comes to embroidery & crochet as well...stop by and show her some love :)

Fabulous fabric....

What's better than a day off from work? How about a day off from work and all of the fabulous fabrics you have ordered lately from Reprodepot & Superbuzzy arrive! *sigh*...I am just so in love with all of these, especially the fairy tale ones.

A few fun things...

So I entered the picture of Mugsy in his beanie in the Pampered Puppy monthly photo contest and he won second prize! Unfortunately, I don't think he is going to be too thrilled about his winnings because he is getting these...

If nothing else they will make for a fun scrappable photo :)

The past couple of nights after work, I have been putting together kits of scrapping goodies since I get to teach the craft at our next Chicagoland Craft Collective meeting this month...we are going to do an 8 1/2 x 11 layout and I have been having such fun pulling all kinds of good stuff together for everyone to play with!

I just got...

Tickets to see Morrissey on May 15th...very exciting! I drug me feet on getting tickets the last time he was in town so I jumped on it this time. Hubby doesn't quite seem to share my excitement, but I am dragging him along anyway :) He is going to be at the Auditiorium Theater where we saw Radiohead last year, it's a fabulous venue so it should be a great show.
