The cat did it!

So when I got home from work this afternoon, the first thing I see when I came in the back door through the kitchen was this...

Yep, that is the remnants of what was a full bag of hot dog buns this morning. As much as I can piece together, our kitty Ivo decided that he would get on top of the refrigerator, get into the basket where we keep the bread, and then throw it down to 2 hungry pugs. Here's a picture of Ivo saying "who, me?"

Mugsy checking for any last crumbs

Eating ill-gotten food makes me sleeeeeeeepy!

Run, don't walk to Michaels

O.k., so some of my favorite new stuff at CHA was Martha Stewart's Halloween line. Well they have it out at Michaels and I gotta' tell you, it's a must have...I love it all! I still had a little on a gift card so I din't make out too bad today, but I definitely feel as if I will be going back for some of the stuff I didn't pick up today. Love those clear stamps in the fab. goth font!! I also picked up a couple of sheets of DCWV's pp from their Rock Star line, my fave is the brown with the gold hearts & stars.

For those of you who haven't heard yet, zingBOOM is no more. Kristen has so much going on in her life right now and made the difficult, yet wise decision to focus on herself and her family. This was my first design team that I was on and I want to thank her one more time for the opportunity.
I am off to do some much needed house cleaning and maybe finish up a LO I started yesterday...have a happy Thursday :)

This made my day...

I got home from work today & my feet were aching, my head was throbbing and I just wanted to crawl under the sheets until I opened the mailbox and saw a package...oooooh, a package! As I ripped it open, I found that it was from the fabulous gnome-loving Elly over at Scrap In Style TV. Look at all of the rak-tacular goodness...thank you Elly, this totally made my day :)

Thanks for the Hugs

Mugsy did great yesterday thanks to the power of positive puggy vibes. He had to have 4 teeth removed and has a few sore spots from where his bumps were removed, but he is such a trooper! He has to be on canned food while his mouth is healing and he is loving that since Pixie is quite jealous of his gourmet dinners :)

Now on to the scrapping! The gallery is up at Label Tulip and it is gorgeous!!!! Here are my projects with this kit.

Pug Hugs for Mugs

Mugsy is off to the vet in a little while to have a dental and to have several skin tags and small bumps removed at the same time. Any procedure that involves putting him under just freaks me out so any positive puggy vibes you could send his way today would be much appreciated :)

Lazy morning

These pics. just about sum up how lazy it is here this morning...Mugsy is snoozing away on my desk chair, Pixie is snoozing away under my desk chair and I got a little scrapping done. I couldn't let Pixie's head-tilt pic. sit for long before Idid something with it :)

Do not try this at home...

This morning I had to perform emergency surgery on an elf! Pixie went digging around in the toy basket and found an elf toy that we received for Chrismas a couple of years ago. She is happily chewing away on Mr. Elf when I hear "jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells...." over and over again. It appears that the little noise maker in Mr. Elf has become stuck and despite my best efforts, cannot get it to shut off. I go to my scrapping table and get my x-acto knife and prepare to perform an emergency noise-maker-ectomy on Mr. Elf. Pixie my assistant comes over to witness the procedure...

Success, the defective organ has been removed!

Poor Pixie after being told that Mr. Elf did not make it through surgery

Maybe a snuggle on the super cute skull blanket she received in the mail yesterday from our Pug Village friend Rachel will make her feel better...have you ever seen a better head-tilt?!

Mugsy likes it too :)

Sneaky Peeks

Here are some sneak peeks from the fab Label Tulip kit. First of all, I am a sucker for good packaging, so when I opened the box and found everything wrapped in brown paper with this cool label I was already in *love*

now on to the sneakiness :)

Yes, that is woodgrain fabic...*sigh* how cool is that?!

This is a clear mini album, there is soooooo much stuff in this kit you can make tons of different projects and it just keeps coming!

Stay tuned for more peeks :)

Evidence...

...that I did spend a little time cleaning my scrapping room yesterday...see how the top of my work table has some empty space, well that is a huge accomplishment for me!

More evidence...of a crime this time...this is what it looks like when a sock monkey dies. Warning, this is not for the faint of heart :)

Look what came in the mail yesterday!!

Rona over at PugVillage put together 3 books compiled from all of the wonderful puggy pictures that get posted over there. What a wonderful surprise to find out that my Mugsy made cover-boy for one of the books. You can order them here and the proceeds go to pug rescue and PDE (pug dog encephalitis) research.

And to wind up the most random post ever, just wanted to show more of how I used the August kit from My Favorite Memories. There were some of those oversized Heidi Swapp playing cards in the kit & I thought they would make a cool mini album. Just so you know, I don't have man-hands...Bob is holding the album for the pic :)

Peek-a-boo!

Just popping in to say happy Tuesday :) I am off to Target in a few minutes to run some errands, and then I have the afternoon to play. Common sense tells me I should clean up my scrapping space a little, but that's no fun so instead I will be working on some projects while listening to my new favorite album to scrap by Super Taranta by Gogol Bordello, nothing like a little Ukranian inspired punk rock to get the creative juices flowing
