*whew* I am home!

O.k., I was only gone a few days but it seems like a month 'cause I squeezed so much into those few days! First off, Scrap Etc. was fun...fun...fun!! I don't know how much of a class taker I am though since I didn't finish one of the projects but I did get a good start on all of them and got some great ideas. I cannot rave aboutWilna's class enough...even though we had her class at the early hour of 8 a.m., we were creative, engaged, and she is just about the sweetest, nicest person you will ever meet and you just want to scoop her up and put her in your pocket! I was a bad picture-taker at the event so thankfully the uber sweet Amber & her hubby Josh sent me some pics this morning...

That is the talented Amy Tan on the left...I was lucky enough to score one of her t-shirts finally!

Other highlights are:
Packing SIS make & take kits at 1:30 in the morning!
Rooming with the fab Becca, Amy, Amber, JJ & Kayla
Staying at JJ's house and getting to meet all 5 of her kids and her hubby Bob
Skipping a class (sshhhhhh, don't tell anyone) and scrapping with Kelli in the hall
Handing out SIS buttons to all the fab SISters I got to meet :)
Hanging out with my fellow pug lovers Amber & Allie

Conveniently, my parents are in Franklin, TN so I got to spend some time with them too. We went to see my Grandfather in Alabama one day and stopped at a flea market out in the country...the kind where you can find chickens...

Elvis...

and other goodies...

The next day we went into Nashville for lunch and did a little shopping...at Anthropologie I got this cool necklace...

and my Mom splurged on this cuuuuute top for me (thanks Mom!)

I then had to pick up some Southern treats to bring home for my staff at work...the beans are for me, I am kind of addicted to green beans and these are sooooo good!

My Dad gave be about a gazillion old post cards so now I have to come up with a cool project for them...maybe a mini book with some of them :)

I have 2 boxes this size packed full!

Reality sets back in today as I have to go into work later this afternoon, but as soon as I have some free time I am going to play with my new SIS kit that came while I was gone...

It is so lovely & you can check it out here!
