Here he is
driving his new shiny red GTI :) (which is parked by my much loved VW R32)
He went and filled up his truck with gas last week and it cost $85...yikes!!! It was time to look at something smaller and more fuel efficient so on Memorial day we did a little shopping.
And then I did a little scrapping, oooh, and I just have to sneak one small non-Bob related goodie in here, how cool is this fabric which is actually a bedspread from Urban Outfitters
which is now a tote with tons left for other projects!

Girl, you are amazing! Love, love, love the tote you made! Yay for Bob, showing up on the Mugsy Boo blog. :) That new car is freakin' cool, but you know that already.
My first car was a VW Dasher. I drove it until the sad end of it's life. She was a bit of a haunted car with problems that would mysteriously come and go. She died when I made the fateful decision of switching cars with my brother so he could take her on a college road trip to Florida. *sigh*
Beautiful car...and with apologies to Bob, beautiful birdie bag too! My first car was a beetle, happy memories:-)

Poor Bob... having to complete for blog attention from Mugsy, Opie, AND NOW Pixie. It is too much for the man to take... he had to break. It was going to happen eventually!

Yeah so now I am going to have to put up a photo of Jim's car facing my car so we can have our VW show downs! Of course both of us have the baby versions of yours... but we make it up in crazy driving technique! hehe I see a 4 car VW spread in the making! A progression if you will...
