shelly b...you won! Send me your addy and we will get your goodies in the mail :)

My new favorite LO

Do you ever have an idea, and when you sit down to work on the project, everything just falls into place...that's how this LO went! I did it a couple of days ago and I just keep coming back to it...makes me smile every time.
O.k., I am off to run a few errands, gotta stop by Joann's, Old Navy and maybe Archiver's to see if there is anything new. Mugsy and I will pick the RAK winner when I get back, so if you haven't already posted your favorite thing in my previous post...get to it :)

One good RAK deserves another...

One of the things I love most about the scrapping community is how many cool & generous people you get to meet. I was the winner of Andrea's, aka scrapcrazed over at 2Peas, RAK the other day when she held a "felt and buttons challenge" as one of her POTD challenges...I was overwhelmed when I got her package yesterday and it was just bursting with not only every color of felt, but tons of buttons and other cute felt embellies!! I love fun mystery packages in the mail...thank you, thank you, thank you!

So now it comes time to pay it forward so I am going to send out a RAK of some of my favorite things (the pic. is just a sneak peak, other surprises await!) all packed up in this sweet little tattoo inspired tote....all you have to do is tell what one of your favorite things is...it can be a person, a movie a song...whatever, Mugsy and I will pick a random winner on Thursday morning...some of mine are pugs, anything with skulls, the color orange, robots, VWs, Harry Potter, scrapping and the movie Napoleon Dynamite...soooooooo what are yours :)

How cool...

are these fabric tags I ordered from Name Maker. They are going to get sewn into the seams of my felt puggies.

It looks like some yucky weather is heading our way tonight, i.e. rain, ice and then snow, so tomorrow will be a good day to be snuggled up inside with the puggies watching a movie and sewing and scrapping. My new Basic Grey came in the mail this week, so I am hoping to have some time to play with it on a LO.

Random Goodness

Yeah! The temperature here if finally above freezing for 2 days in a row and the snow is melting. Just knowing that spring is around the corner makes a girl happy! In honor of that, here are some other happy things :)

Super duper ultra fabulous robots(!) that my Dad gave to me while I was home. Seriously, are these not the coolest ever?!

My parent's snuggly kitty-cat

Mugsy in a beanie! And you know I had to scrap that!

And of course...more fabric with skulls :)
Hope it's warm and sunny where you are today!

Junkin'

Today I started my morning with a couple of scrapping and pug friends (hello Amber!) at the Loveless Cafe...nothing like grits and homefries to start your morning off right.

I've picked up a bunch of fun stuff at estate sales and such while I have been here, good thing I drove so I can get it all back home!

Vintage sewing basket filled to the brim with fun stuff like buttons, spools of old thread and these booklets of needles.

Some old craft books

Fun fabrics!

I've also picked up some cute stuff for the puggies and some scrapping stuff so I will have all kinds of goodies to play with when I get home :)

Vacation!

Woo-hoo...my vacation started today and tomorrow I am off to Tennessee to visit the family! I plan on relaxing and shopping and maybe doing a little sewing.

As I was running errands this morning, I of course found a couple of things I had to get for Mugsy. How cute is this hoodie from Target?! They had a whole new collection of the coolest rock & roll inspired doggie stuff. He also got another new t from Old Navy. Alright, I am off to do laundry, pack, and maybe a little house cleaning.
