Alas, I am not as crafty...

as I thought I was! This week at our Chicagoland Craft Collective meeting, our incredibly talented instructor Melanie Silver was put in charge of teaching us how to make super cool beads out of individual beads that we would strand. I went in with an open mind, but as soon as the instructions were passed out and I saw the maze of diagrams and numbers I had flashbacks to high school geometry and that was it, I was out! The photo that you see with this posting is as far as I got, you can check out what the completed project was supposed to look like by checking out Sarah Moore's Blog She received some of these little gems during our Christmas exchange. We both agreed that the $3 fee for the project was fair price for the lesson learned that we need to stick with our favorite medium for a while...paper! Make sure you check out Sarah's cards on her blog...she is ever so creative!

Why do I have the sinking suspision that I can do that? It seems like one of those insane yet inane things that I can handle doing. But if I bring one more craft project home Jim will shoot me! hrmmm you shall have to show me the directions... I know I can do that! muahahahaa!

there is no way that I could do that. I have no patience! NONE! Good for you for trying though. Hey. Do you sell your pug dolls anywhere? They are just too cute!

I found my weakness in Pottery. I love art and I don't have a hard time with much, untill I signed up for a pottery class. Never again...Never again.
