Getting organized

I am the kind of scrapper that if I can't see what supplies I have to work with I either forget that I have them or more than likely, I pull them all out so I can see what I have and leave them strewn about my scrapping space. Yesterday I finally got to the point where I couldn't function anymore and with Bob's help created a system to keep all of the stuff that would accumulate on my scrapping table organized. Sure I have lots of storage in my room, but putting stuff back is next to impossible for me. Now all of my gazillion alphabets and such are hanging right above my scrapping table, all organized and I don't even have to take them down, I can just reach up and grab what I need...sounds simple enough, but boy what a huge difference this makes!

*Edit* to include a supply list...
1 24-48" expandable curtain rod with brackets in finish of your choice
30 (or however many you need) curtain rod rings with clips
I purchased the above items at Linens & Things, but I am sure Target and other stores would have them as well
2 x 3" wood blocks
2 x 3 1/2" wood blocks

Make a "T" out of the wood blocks by screwing larger block onto smaller one from the back side
drill 2 holes in larger block, 1 on either side of the longer piece that was just attatched
Attatch brackets to block...this is the stuff Bob did so I am probably not explaining it very well so here is a pic. the ceiling over my desk is at an angle, but this will also work if you want to mount it to the wall.

Mount wood blocks at desired height to wall, put on rod with clips and get organized!!

So that idea I looooveee!!! I was thinking about the spiny round thingy- but that would just take away more room from my desk - but this is such a cool idea! Mhhh - self made? I wonder where the heck in Germany I should get one!

Anyways- it looks awesome!
