This Day Has Gone To The Dogs...

and it's a good thing! This morning my trusty co-pilot Mugsy and I went to do a home visit with a family who is adopting a pug through Northen Illinois Pug Rescue. Mugsy made quite the impression and enjoyed all of the attention that he got. We adopted Mugsy through NIPRA almost 2 years ago...he's such a funny little guy and we love him so.

Yesterday I ran accross a link to The Snuggles Project...if you haven't heard of this, it is such a cool thing. They promote the making of snuggles, blankets and quilts to donate to homeless pets in shelters. I started making some snuggly flannel blankets that are going to be given to puggies who are being fostered through Northern Illinois Pug Rescue. I think this is something everyone could participate in, you don't have to know how to sew, you can do a no-sew fleece blanket, and the homeless kitties and doggies would love them.
