Yesterday my friend Nancy and I braved the bitter cold Chicago weather to drive into the city...when I say cold I mean cold, here is what the temp thingy in my car said as I drove to pick her up...brrrrrrrrrrr!!

Nancy was able to get us tickets to
In The Loop With iVillage...I know...in the what with who?! It's a daily talk show that is filmed at NBC here in Chicago and is hosted by that Apprentice guy Bill Rancic, Kim Coles and some other chick who's name escapes me. We learned how to clap the appropriate live television way, got to see Carnie Wilson sing (c'mon you have to remember Wilson Phillips) and walked away with some free stuff like a Mr. Bean dvd, binoculars, some Homedics air freshener thing, this gadget that transmits whatever you are watching on t.v. to your computer and some other fun stuff. It was kind of cool to see a live t.v. show done and Kim Coles is just hilarious.
We then made our way over to the cutest little store called
Paper Doll
Not only did they have the coolest stuff, they have a puggy named Maude who gets to hang out and greet customers all day, here she is getting some lovin' from Nancy

I picked up some pug wrapping paper and a piggy bank that is a pug...or should I say "puggy" bank...tee-hee! We then headed accross the street to a cute little doggy boutique where I picked up this adorable(!) new sweater for Mugsy

We got a little more snow last night so he got to wear it on his walk this morning. Pixie on the other hand is not enjoying the snow as much...she can't wait to get out of it as fast as possible...

and then pounds on the door until you let her in...

Alrighty, I am off to the post office as I have a few pirate pugs that are off to new homes for the holidays :)
