Do not try this at home...

This morning I had to perform emergency surgery on an elf! Pixie went digging around in the toy basket and found an elf toy that we received for Chrismas a couple of years ago. She is happily chewing away on Mr. Elf when I hear "jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells...." over and over again. It appears that the little noise maker in Mr. Elf has become stuck and despite my best efforts, cannot get it to shut off. I go to my scrapping table and get my x-acto knife and prepare to perform an emergency noise-maker-ectomy on Mr. Elf. Pixie my assistant comes over to witness the procedure...

Success, the defective organ has been removed!

Poor Pixie after being told that Mr. Elf did not make it through surgery

Maybe a snuggle on the super cute skull blanket she received in the mail yesterday from our Pug Village friend Rachel will make her feel better...have you ever seen a better head-tilt?!

Mugsy likes it too :)

OMG! That reminds me of Nora, my Puglet, with her Rudolph. She got him for Christmas last year when she was 8 wks. old. She quickly learned how to make him sing the Rudolph Song by biting his ear. Poor Rudolph! Nora finally dhewed right through the wire and put Rudy out of his misery!

I just love your pug stories. Yup! I'll be coming back to check on your babies! Thanks!

LOL!! That is so funny! I did EXACTLY the same a couple of years ago on a squeaky seal dog toy! I stitched him back up with huge bright stitches and gave him back to the girls for more abuse!!
